Hi,
I’m Katy. I am a full time history student and I work part time. I love cooking, baking, cake decorating – you name it! I have a passion for making great food that is homely, tasty and easy; rather than pretentious, tiny portions with numerous ingredients that one never has within their cupboards!
After moving out of home a few months ago and purchasing my own house, I have found that I now suffer the same dilemma that my Mum endured…. I now return from work never knowing what to cook, or find myself trailing through endless cookery books and websites for recipes when the munchies hunger hits (mainly on a weekend, or when trying to study!!)… by the time I finally choose a recipe it’s two hours later and I have already worked my way through a number of jaffa cake biscuits…or anything else I find close to hand!
So, I finally took it upon myself to set up my very own website – here it is!
Perhaps it will just be for my own reference on a daily basis, as I gradually build up a portfolio of recipes, or perhaps you’ll find something that will tickle your fancy! Any suggestions to my recipes are always welcome.
You’ll also notice that I enjoy trying to make things to perfection or adapting my recipes from time to time – simply out of curiosity, or because I run out of certain ingredients!
I hope you enjoy making the recipes as much as I enjoy creating and adapting them.
